Welcome, I’m Monica Hall, founder of YOGAMON in Adelaide. It is such a pleasure to introduce to you the uplifting, health enhancing benefits of Dru Yoga and Meditation.

Dru Yoga

is a heart centred, flowing, adaptable form of yoga perfectly suited to the varying stages and ranges of age, ability and experience.

Modifications are offered to suit your physical capability, extensions are included as your practice develops. Your safety is priority . Our aim, greater well-being on all levels through the the development of a regular practice.

Our class commences with easy movement to warm the body and begin to clear the mind. A freeing, energy block release sequence seamlessly follows then the addition of postures and breath work. To complete the class, a health enhancing restorative, relaxation. Combined , they offer a glorious sense of well-being.

The relaxation, is an essential element of Dru Yoga. Once experienced you will understand why. It is introduced incrementally for those with difficulty in this area.

There are numerous studies on the benefits of Dru Yoga. The results demonstrate that in at least 80% of cases Dru Yoga participants experience the following

  • reduction in stress and tension

  • easing of back pain, headaches and other physical discomfort

  • lessening of negative thought

  • boosting of energy and vitality

  • positive transformation within, the effects of which ripple outward to others

  • greater ability to manage periods of change and transition.

Our studio

is a sanctuary of calm, designed to nurture our students from the moment of arrival,, created for you to feel welcome and at ease.

Mats and props are supplied, freshly laundered, cleaned and /or sanitised as appropriate and spaced for your well-being and peace of mind.

Situated within the newly renovated, historic building, “Good Hub” which is base for over 20 health professionals from various well-being sectors, all working for the betterment in health and well-being of our community. It is a privilege to practice within this wellness-inspired cohort.

My Teaching

resonates with joy and delight. It is respectful and engaging. I honour the body, heart, mind connection within each of us.

Our class size is small.

My aim is to provide the most uplifting classes possible, classes that promote positivity and wellbeing, release stress and fatigue and nourish,, energise and strengthen.

The emotional rewards compliment the wonderful physical gains you will make.

I introduce small variations each week and new sequences every six to 10 weeks to ensure continued learning and benefit.

My History

When living with the diagnosis and challenges of a neuromuscular condition I found Dru yoga. The benefits were and are profound. My slowly growing practice, now a daily yoga and meditation practice, was and is an essential ingredient to regaining and maintaining positivity as well as physical fluidity. My practice continues to guide me today strengthening my whole being..

The knowledge gained through years of study and the generous gifts passed down by learned and wise mentors, teachers and colleagues, are my base. I continue to study and learn so that I am able to give more ongoing.

I sincerely hope you will trial a group class, or perhaps book in for a private class or a small class with a few chosen friends to celebrate friendship, birthday or special occasion.
